He took to his Instagram status on the 8th of March to announce that he was going to divorce his wife Korra Obidi barely a week after the birth of their second child.

Justin Dean, an American Doctor, and Korra Obidi, a Nigerian singer, dancer met on a dating site when Korra was coaching in Asia and got married on December 17, 2017, in Lagos Nigeria.

Justin Dean and  Korra Obidi had their first child June Dean on July 9, 2019, and their second daughter Athena Dean on the 2nd March 2022.

The couple has been living in Los Angeles California since their wedding.

The announcement of their divorce by Justin Dean came as a shock because the couple has always displayed their love and romance on social media.

He said and I quote: Korea Obidi and I are getting a divorce, it’s over, I wouldn’t be treated this way any longer, I did my absolute best to make it work.

I didn’t want this, I did my best, my heart is broken, I loved her, supported her, I don’t deserve the way I was treated.

After his post, the internet was set on fire, concerned fans and critics commented. Some said it was a prank by the couple, or it could be a stunt by the couple to draw more traffic to their page.

After a lot of speculation, Justin Dean responded that it is not a joke.

At this time Korra was silent about the issue and seems to be living her normal life.

After his reply, Korra’s online family, blogs, and critics sent messages to Korra to clear the air.

Korra later did a live video thanking her fans for their concern and support, and that she will focus on taking care of her two daughters, she said.. when mama is good, the baby is good.

On the 12th of March 2022, Justin Dean wrote the reason for his decision to Divorce Korra Obidi. On his Instagram story, he said…. I am tired of this narcissism, cheating, and lack of accountability. I have been trying since 2018 to save our marriage and if I don’t do what she says she divorces me. I have been a prisoner that has his family used against him if she doesn’t get what she wants.

After his post, some said Korra is truly cheating because she goes nude on live television, others said it might not be true that Justin Dean might be jealous of Korra because of the attention she might be getting online.
