Youth around the world who are eligible and qualified to obtain higher education is not in most cases opportune to attain higher education due to the financial burden involved.

This is a problem that College Relief Funds seek to solve.

What is the College Relief Funds Scholarship

The college relief funds scholarship is a corporately funded organization entrusted to supporting students. Their team and processes are devoid of external interference to ensure fairness in endowments.

Scholarships will be disbursed based on the needs of students (capped at $1,000) per student.

Since the inception of college relief funds in 2018, CRF has engaged stakeholders interested in the educational advancement of the African Youths.

They are happy to have hit a break and raised $245,000.00 in 2019 to kick off our first round of direct scholarships to support deserving students across higher institutions in Africa.

CRF is building a proven track record of using its funds to efficiently and effectively fulfill the mission.

Their aim is to provide young Africans and indigent families with the knowledge and resources needed to successfully complete a higher education, and provide scholarships and support services to as many students as possible on a per need basis.

The college Relief Funds have secured $245,000.00, a target applicant pool of 1,500  and 1,200+ scholarship awardees, and are available to students in African countries.

The college Relief Funds program is a comprehensive initiative established to raise funds to support students and provide opportunities for youth across Africa to attain quality higher education within Africa from 2018.

The team and activities of college Relief Funds are free from external interference to avoid unfair endowments.

Scholarships are given based on students’ needs,  the amount is targeted at $1,000 per student.

The annual grant is targeted at covering tuition fees, accommodation, and general expenses of the students.

Who is Eligible for College Relief Funds Scholarship

  • Eligibility is open to all Nigerian students schooling in accredited Universities, Polytechnics  / Monotechnics and Colleges of Education (public or private) within the country.
  • Students must NOT be in their Final Year during the application period. Ex: Level 100 – 300 for a typical 4years University Program. Pre-ND – HND 1 for Polytechnics / Monotechnics etc.
  • Student must not have undergone academic probation at any time due to poor grades.

Steps on How to Apply For College Relief Funds Scholarship:

  • Registration: if you have not registered before, you should visit the login site, create a username and password . Your email address must be active as a link will be sent to your email to activate your account.
  • Login: To access the scholarship, you must login. Click on the login space input your username and password then click login. You can refresh the page, check your network connection or use another browser if you experience difficulty in login in.
  • Enroll: in your dashboard, you will see a box tagged enrol. Click and  provide your personal details, academic details, family and expenditure details . Information provided must truthful and verifiable. Remember that this is the most important part of your application.
  • Refer: You can refer those seeking same opportunities to apply and you will stand a chance of winning incentives like data or airtime. Winners are selected randomness.
  • Preselection: in this stage applicants are to wait for status change on their dashboard. It remains orange color and will only change if application status change. Your status may change to pre-selected, wait-list or ineligible. Preselected candidates will be invited to take aptitude test and provide documents for verification of it’s on wait-list, it might later change to pre-selected. Applicants should regularly check their dashboard and emails for update.

Is Registration into College Relief Funds Scholarship Free

Yes! Registration and Enrollment for the scholarship program are free. Document Verification and Aptitude Test will also be FREE for all pre-selected candidates.

Going forward, no student is expected to make any payment for any service regarding the scholarship.

How Much is the CRF Scholarship

Beneficiaries of the scholarship will receive a need-based endowment grant of up to N500,000.00 to cover tuition fees, accommodation, and general expenses.

The grant is expected to be an annual grant to be re-accessed based on academic improvement, changes in financial status, and other parameters as may be appropriate to determine the awardee’s needs.

Scholarships are one of the best and most effective ways for students to be granted the opportunity to realize their dreams of quality and sustainable education.

Beneficiaries of the scholarship will receive a need-based endowment grant of up to $1,000.00 to cover tuition fees, accommodation, and general expenses.

The grant is expected to be an annual grant after reassessment of academic improvement, changes in financial status, and other parameters as may be appropriate to determine the awardee’s needs.
